Pearl Zambrano bumped into an old landlord at a time when she needed help the most. The single mother of two had just lost her job and was about to be made homeless. The current tenants had moved out and 26 year-old Trevino always lived Pearl and her family. His offer? Live without paying rent and go back to school. Which she duly did. She later nominated Rafa for an award. A ‘Pay It 4Ward’ award. Which he won!
