We live in a strange age. Technology has brought us all so much closer together, yet for many it can be isolating too. Texts and Snapchat and Twitter and Facebook. It certainly makes navigating growing up a lot trickier than it was in previous generations,

16 year-old Reese Hebert knows all about the pressure that some girls feel now. She was recently texted by a boy from school who contacted her out of the blue. She doesn’t even know how he got her phone number. Anyway, he almost instantly began asking for her to send him naked selfies. But Reese wasn’t having any of it. And her reply? EPIC!

“He asked me what I was doing and since I was in the shower I said I was in the shower and he asked to see,” she said. “And I’m not the type to just send stuff like that.”

But she DID take a picture of herself in the shower. But there was no flesh on show. Just a very weird umbrella hat…

“I needed to spend $20 on Amazon Prime now and I was $3 short so I was just looking for something to get and I found the umbrella hat and I thought it was so funny so I got it and I thought I would never use it,” she said.
