Shia LaBeouf Absolutely Nails His “Five Fingers Of Death” Freestyle on ‘Sway In The Morning!’

Shia LaBeouf is quite the multi-hyphenate. Actor, director, performance artist, and now, rapper!? The Transformers star is being widely lauded for his rapping skills after appearing on Eminem’s Shade 45 digital radio station. LaBeouf was guesting on Sway Calloway’s ‘Sway In The Morning’ show, when he agreed to take part in the “Five Fingers of Death” freestyle challenge. And do you know what? He absolutely killed it!

“Get ready, get set, this a meme,” LaBeouf begins. “This is wild, this is a childhood dream.” He then goes on to throw shade at the notorious 1-Oak nightclub, before referencing the 2013 Daniel Clowes controversy. “Plagiarist, stay making shit. Greatest gifts come from painful shit.”

LaBeouf is currently starring in the road movie, American Honey, which is said to be his greatest performance to date, and has some people suggesting that he could be in line for an Oscar nomination. However, that couldn’t be further from Shia’s mind at the moment. He told Variety in September:

“Nah, dude, not me. The Oscars are about politics. I gotta earn my way back. It’s not about who is the best. I’m not that guy for a long time—for a long, long time. I’m good with that, though. Sometimes that shit is a curse.”
