Exploring with Josh is a YouTube series presented by a guy named, you got it, Josh. Each webisode sees Josh head somewhere weird and check it out for the benefit of his viewers. And this latest video? Fascinating. He headed to an abandoned mansion that’s been in a fairly shambling wreck. But it wasn’t all that long ago that it was full of people growing and selling weed out of it.

According to Josh’s sources, what happened was this… The mansion was originally owned and lived in by a woman who was dying of cancer. Due to her condition, she was granted special dispensation by authorities to grow weed. As she grew weak, she was exploited by some unscrupulous estate agents who moved in and stole her weed-growing set-up, growing more and more and peddling it locally.

Soon, the woman in the house died. But the men stayed living there. They attempted to hack the electricity, but it backfired. Literally. A small fire decimated a part of the house and ended up burning a stash of weed. The stink alerted local law enforcement and the men were arrested…

Now, some years later, Josh and his crew are sniffing around and it makes for fascinating viewing…
