The inmate who beat up the man responsible for the Charleston Church Shooting has received so many donations from the public that he is now out of prison on bond! Dwayne Stafford attacked neo-Nazi Dylann Roof back in August, after a security breach allowed him to intercept the shooter as he went for his morning shower. Prison authorities suspect that a guard deliberately left Roof in a vulnerable position.
Although Roof’s attorneys did not press charges against Stafford, a $100k bond was still set against him, after he was arrested on charges of armed robbery and lying to the police. But, upon the news being released to the media, donations flooded in, and the bail was met in just a few days.
Roof is being kept in solitary confinement, awaiting trial for the murder of 9 people at the Mother Emanuel AME church in June 2015
