Last month, we told you about Samsung recalling millions of their Galaxy 7 handset after users reported them catching fire. Well, now someone is claiming that their brand new iPhone 7 exploded before they could even get their hands on it! The user, who has not been named, ordered the iPhone online, but upon unboxing the product, found it charred and cracked.
The fire allegedly happened between the factory and the user’s home address. So far, neither Apple nor UPS, who delivered the parcel, have made a statement. In Samsung’s case, the fires were due to a faulty battery. Apple will be hoping that their new iPhone does not face a similar fate.
