Batman. He may have dealt with The Joker, but he can’t get over his pathological hatred of clowns. The Dark Knight has taken a break from Gotham City and decided to head to Whitehaven in Cumbria, England. Why? Well, to help fight this current ‘killer clown’ craze.

Well, alright. Fine. It’s not the real Batman. Mostly because he’s a fictional character. So who is the Caped Crusader really? Well, It’s not entirely clear. He’s part of a group calling themselves ‘Cumbria Superheroes’, though. Their aim? To patrol the streets and put children’s minds at rest.

The stupid clown craze has seen pranksters and idiots dressing as scary clowns and running about towns and cities all across the world and terrifying people. For fun, apparently. It’s all well and good, but some people are seriously freaked out. Especially little ‘uns. So that’s where the Cumbrian Batman comes in…
