Indiana. Two cousins, Isabella George, 19, and 20 year-old Rebekah Forgey, were out walking one day. They were on a rural country road, doing a little jogging and keep fit. The sun was out, it was a nice day. But it wasn’t to be nice for very long. They were to be attacked…

Four pit bull terriers came up to them and the attack was as savage as it was devastating. The dogs pounced and it was later described as ‘a feeding frenzy’, it was so brutal. In total? The attack took a full thirty minutes.

Now we all now that pit bulls are not naturally aggressive. In fact, they’re one of the most placid if left to their own instincts. But with bad breeding they can be extremely vicious. Like any dog.

The wounds and gashes and cuts were deep and plenty. In fact, the pictures of the aftermath are shocking. You can see for yourself.

Muscles were torn on both girls’ legs. One of them suffered having more than 75% of her scalp ripped off.

The dogs’ owner Richard Darter tried to stop the attack but the dogs could not be halted. He suffered bad bites himself.

The dogs have all since been euthanized.
