It may appear like some sort of crazed and frenzied revenge mission, but there’s some sense in it… When the farmer you’re about to meet saw the terrible wound and damage that a wild boar had done to his pet dog, he flipped. He’d had his farm terrorized by the gang of big pigs for some time. They slaughter lambs and fawns and can do severe damage to farmland with the way they stab at the ground with their huge tusks.

The farmer was already considering some sort of action against the boars, so when his dog limped home one day with a massive gash ripped into the side of his body, the farmer knew it was time to act. Something had to be done. And boy did he do something!

He jumped aboard a helicopter and with a shotgun and blasted a whole herd of the boars away. It’s like something from a Vietnam movie, it really is. The clip has gone viral and people from all over the world have seen it. There’s an argument as to how humane what the guy does really is, but he – and many other farming types – stand by his actions.
