Sunday night. An AeroMexico flight from the Mexican city of Torreon to the nation’s capital Mexico City. Passengers begin to relax once the plane takes off and settle in mid-air. The seatbelt light go out. Aaaah… Time for those aboard to read a book or magazine or shut their eyes for an hour. Until something truly terrifying and straight out of Hollywood happens.
Samuel L Jackson would have had a field day aboard this airplane. Weirdly, one of his most famous movies, Snakes on a Plane came to life and a 5ft green viper slithered out of the overhead baggage stow!
Indalecio Medina who filmed the big green snake said this: ‘The Viper flying…. A unique experience in the flight 231 from AeroMexico. I had to catch it with a blanket and obviously we gave it some magazines to read for a while. The snake arrived alive and kicking, frightened but without having paid its airfare. And best of all, priority when it came to landing and animal control experts waiting for the unexpected traveller.’Â
Altogether now! “Get this motherf***in’ snake… Off this motherf***in’ PLANE!”
